All in all a great day out paddling – lots to see on that coastline and Tantallon Castle looks magical from the sea, the swell was great fun once I worked out it wasn’t going to capsize me and we were just floating with each wave (although you had to take care as sometimes it would grab you unaware) and I was happier in the surf both getting out into it and coming back in through intimidating waves.
