Craggy Upland

June 30, 2009

Finally caught up with Stuart at the Fish Inn at (I Can’t Believe It’s Not) Buttermere for a few pints, passing the Honister Slate Mine, which Stuart told us wasn’t actually slate but Pyroclastic Flow, so not very honister there. We saw his farm house accommodation surrounded by gorgeous landscape, watched Andy Murray playing tennis with his geology mates and a gin and tonic then it was long long drive home for Kim and a long hard snore for Mike.

Fabby day in the Lake District and I am sore all over now…
